The Castle needs your support.

As a functioning ‘living’ ancient monument with listed buildings onsite, governed and run by a charitable body, Cardigan Castle is always grateful for any support the public provide. Be it for the townspeople, locals from the area or visitors from both home and abroad the ‘Croeso’ is always warm and inclusive.

There are many ways in which you can support the Castle:

When you buy an entrance ticket if you are eligible to Gift Aid please offer to do so – it takes just a minute or two, costs you nothing but the Castle as a Charity benefits from Government subsidy on each ticket sold.

Why not become a Friend of the Castle – you pay a little more but receive many benefits which can be used during the year.

Support our events – we stage several concerts a year and displays at the Castle as well as open air theatre events. Look out for what we have to offer on our What’s On page.

Tell your friends and family about the Castle and encourage them to visit.

You might have a historic item or piece of furniture from the Georgian or Regency period which you might consider donating to the Castle to add to it’s collection, thereby preserving it for future generations.

You can donate funds directly or you might wish to consider leaving a legacy to the Castle in your will?  If you have any queries about this please speak to a member of staff in confidence.

More than anything – the best way to support the Castle is to use and enjoy it – it’s part of your heritage and we are only the custodians.
