Following a busy summer season, Cardigan Castle will be reducing its opening hours over the winter period in order to carry out the necessary maintenance and to refresh our interpretations and exhibitions.

“We want people to keep coming back to Cardigan Castle. This time of year gives us a great opportunity to take stock, undertake some minor maintenance and to look at what we can do to improve the facility in preparation for another busy year. We are keen to hear from the local community about what they would like to see at the castle, it’s important that the castle is valued by it’s local visitors.” Jac Davies – Castle Director

The castle’s grounds will remain open throughout the winter with only Castle Green house and the shop closing on certain days. Our new opening schedule can be found below and will be in effect from Monday 27th November until February.

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday – CLOSED (Castle Green House and shop only) 1176 and grounds will be open 10-4pm

Wednesday – Saturday – OPEN 10-4pm

24th December (Christmas Eve) – CLOSED

25th December (Christmas Day) – CLOSED

26th December (Boxing Day) – CLOSED

1st January (New Year’s day) – CLOSED
