FFABL (Welsh for Fable) is a magical, spectacular lantern and light festival launching in Cardigan Castle this year. Experience the wonderment of Christmas whilst meandering through wintry stories and Welsh mythology. You will also encounter some of the creatures and heroes from Wales’ finest book of legends, the Mabinogion.
This self led trail around the house and grounds of Cardigan Castle ends in the Pavilion where you will find festive food, drinks and a small makers market.
Tickets are priced at £11 for adults, £8 for children or £35 for a family ticket (allows admission for 2 adults, 2 children) plus booking fee when booked in advanced. Choose a date and your 15 minute starting slot for the trail. Tickets are available on the door for the slightly higher rates of Adults £12.50, Children £9.50, Family £40. Once you’ve started the trail you may go around more than once and there is no specified time limit. During particularly busy periods you may be asked to wait before having a second trip around the trail to avoid crowding. The trail is predominantly outdoors so please bring suitable footwear and clothing. Dogs are not allowed into this even (Guide Dogs are permitted).
Tickets are non-refundable. The Trail will be open 17:00 to 21:00 (last entry at 9pm) on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th,9th,10th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 27th, 28th and 29th of December.
